In order to improve the utilization rate of the total solar radiation and make it play a greater role, the industry realizes the monitoring of the total solar radiation by using the total solar radiation sensor, and makes a reasonable planning according to the size of its intensity. What is the total solar radiation? What is the total solar radiation sensor?
The total solar radiation is the sum of the direct and scattered solar radiation received on the horizontal surface of a certain observation point on the earth’s surface. The total solar radiation consists of direct solar radiation intensity and scattered solar radiation.
Direct solar radiation: Solar radiation that reaches the surface directly in the direction of projection after being weakened by atmospheric scattering and absorption.
Solar scattered radiation: part of the solar radiation that reaches the earth’s surface from various angles in the sky when it passes through the atmosphere and is scattered by gases, dust and aerosols in the atmosphere.
So in industry and production, how do we use solar radiation sensors to monitor and utilize the total solar radiation.
Solar radiation sensor is an important ground meteorological observation instrument and an indispensable equipment in the field of solar energy resource survey and photovoltaic power station operation monitoring. The common types of solar total radiation sensors are thermoelectric and photoelectric.
In order to meet the needs of customers, we designed two products based on different principles for the total solar radiation sensor, thermoelectric total solar radiation sensor and photoelectric total solar radiation sensor, so that customers can better choose and monitor the total solar radiation sensor according to their needs.
Thermoelectric solar radiation sensor:
Thermoelectric solar radiation sensor adopts thermoelectric principle and can be used to measure solar radiation in the spectral range of 0.3 ~ 3μm. The induction element is wound electroplated thermopile, and the induction surface is black coating with high absorption rate. Using the thermal effect of radiation, solar radiation is absorbed and converted into temperature difference electromotive force. And has the function of temperature compensation, can be more accurate measurement of solar radiation. The double glass cover is used above the induction surface, which can not only weaken the influence of air convection on the equipment, but also block the radiation of the cover itself. Scattered radiation can be measured with a radiation shield.
The product adopts standard Modbus-RTU 485 communication protocol and analog signal output mode, which can directly read the current total solar radiation value and has simple wiring mode. Beautiful appearance, occupy less installation space.
Photoelectric solar radiation sensor:
Photoelectric solar radiation sensor adopts photoelectric principle and can be used to measure the solar radiation in the spectral range of 0.3 ~ 3μm. Radiation sensor adopts high-precision photosensitive element, wide spectrum absorption, high absorption in the full spectrum range, good stability; At the same time, the induction element is installed outside the light transmission rate of up to 95% of the dust cover, high transparent dust cover, good sensitivity, dust cover adopts special treatment, reduce dust adsorption, effectively prevent environmental factors on the interference of internal components, can accurately measure the amount of solar radiation. Also comes with level and adjust hand wheel, easy to adjust on site.
The product adopts the standard Modbus-RTU 485 communication protocol, which can directly read the current solar radiation value, and the wiring mode is simple. Compact and beautiful appearance, occupy small installation space.
